Caliber PT is an out-of-network provider. While we do not accept insurance directly, we can always check your individual plan for potential out-of-network benefits and provide you with more information about any out-of-pocket costs after we verify your plan. However, please note that verification of benefits does not guarantee payment by insurance.
Because we prioritize one-on-one patient care, we distinguish ourselves from in-network clinics that typically need to see 3-4 patients an hour to be profitable. Please contact us if you have any questions about our payment options.
A superbill is a detailed invoice that itemizes the healthcare services you have received. It contains all the relevant information that your insurance company requires to process a healthcare claim, and if you submit it directly to your insurance provider, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Most insurances allow patients to submit claims online via a patient portal or through fax or mail. However, we recommend that you contact your insurance company first to get instructions on how to submit claims, their policy requirements, and potential reimbursement. Keep in mind that the superbill does not guarantee payment, and you will be solely responsible for satisfying any other requirements determined by your plan in addition to obtaining the necessary forms for submission.
You can use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for physical therapy sessions. It’s possible to use your FSA for personal training sessions with a valid Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor.
We are committed to providing personalized one-on-one care to all of our patients. During each visit, you will be seen for a full hour by a licensed doctor of physical therapy. We will gear each visit specifically to your needs, ensuring that you receive the highest-quality care possible. We believe that by dedicating more time to each visit without any co-treatments, we can help you see results faster. As a result, our average discharge rate compared to other clinics in the area is almost half the time. We pride ourselves on providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain your health long-term, ultimately helping you move pain-free without needing any healthcare professional's long-term relief.
We offer services to patients in Manhattan, with the option to have sessions at their home, gym, or office. We also have partnerships with gyms throughout the city.
Most patients have two to three sessions per week, but this may vary. Total sessions are often from 6 to 12 weeks long, however this varies depending on the individual and the severity of their condition. We will give you a better estimate of our plan after an evaluation.
Yes, we believe our patients receive the best care with consistent care. Only under special circumstances, such as an illness or a scheduling conflict, would we ask you to change therapists.
